In honor of World Mental Health Day this Thursday, October 10th 2024, we're excited to invite you to a transformative meditation workshop designed to enhance your mental well-being and show you a meditation method to uncover your inner joy.
Have you ever looked back on your life as if you were watching a movie? I looked objectively as if I was the main character in the film. In that movie, I was wandering my whole life in other to gain fame and money.
Meditation was a method where I was able to release those tied emotions one by one. As part of the process, I learned not to suppress my feelings anymore and let them out while understanding why they are false. As a result, I realized that there is nothing bad about any feelings. I'm now used to looking back and throwing away without ignoring my feelings. Life becomes enjoyable and grateful.
The simple fact of the matter is that I’m living in a sea of negative thoughts, 24/7. I have to accept that reality about myself. When this realization clicked in my mind, I found peace within. A surprising calm ensued amid all the negative thoughts. The negative thoughts no longer defined me, and I slowly started to navigate.
oin us on Tuesday, May 21st, for World Meditation Day, a 45-minute program on Zoom. Together with people across the globe, we will meditate for peace, harmony, and unity. By meditating as one worldwide, we raise our awareness and experience the power of our minds while recognizing the importance of self-reflection. Uniting with others enables us to let go of our egos and embrace the joy of coexistence.
As a result, we can see that laziness and procrastination come from the mind. If you find the cause of your mind and remove it, your behavior will change automatically. After I let go of the thoughts that filled my head, the compulsion to be perfect, and the burden on my shoulders, I became a person of action more than anyone else.
Things that hinder your goal are thoughts you accumulated in your mind. If you cleanse cluttered minds that hinder your goal, you can focus on one thing that you do. Through emptying my mind, my life became much simpler and happier.
For me, meditation has helped a lot with staying disciplined. Even when I lose discipline, I can quickly regain it. Thanks to meditation, my perspective changed to a much bigger and long-term one, and much less dramatic. These days, my life may seem dull, but that doesn’t bother me. My mind has become like an ocean where there are, of course, ripples, waves, storms, and the occasional ugly fish, but they don’t define me. Although I do get affected and freak out sometimes, I know it’s passing, and I can get myself back up on the horse.
When I meditate, wisdom arises in my heart. Because I can throw away the false mind I have, and the Truth is revealed. Meditation is the most powerful self-development tool for me.
