How do you handle negative criticisms about you?

A sound mindset goes something like this: Life is not here to fight us. We don’t have to defend ourselves against life. Instead, life is a benevolent force that through circumstances, people, and challenges guides us towards growth. Everything happens for a reason, every person is there for a reason, and everything is perfect. Every moment is a chance for us to grow and ultimately realize our true (higher) self.

How do I get rid of anxiety?

As much as the human mind disappears, our original, true mind is revealed. During the meditation practice, I was able to confirm that the true mind is a healthy, wise, and lively mind. When my false mind was thrown away, my mind became healthy. When my mind became healthy, consequently my body became healthy as well. Since I have thrown away the root of false mind, the causes which used to create the anxious thoughts are naturally decreased. Now that the positive mind has become dominant, negative thoughts become unfamiliar to me.

How do I get over the fear of talking to people?

The reason why you are afraid of talking to others is because of your mind. Fear of others is from the life I had lived. For instance, memories of rejection from my parents and friends or teachers, unfair and upsetting moments, moments I was hurt, traumas, etc.If you want to break the pattern of repetitive behavior that scares talking with people, you can cleanse the root of the mind that makes you fear.

People say the first step to overcoming mental challenges is seeing oneself. However, since we are self-centered, it is not easy to see ourselves objectively. In my case, meditation enabled me to overcome being an obsessive perfectionist and improve my mental health.

What are the best methods to relieve stress?

Through meditation, I was able to look back on myself objectively, and free myself from that mind world of pictures, which was the cause of my stress. As I meditated more my self-centered mind became wider and wider and I could understand myself and others so much better. I could see that this wider mind was my true mind as my happiness kept increasing.

How do I survive in the corporate world?

Meditation is helping me accept my managers and co-workers. I used to think other people were the cause of my unhappiness. I realized others were not the problem and myself was the problem.Through meditation, I am looking at myself who judges co-workers, managers, clients and I am letting go of these thoughts I created. This has allowed me to accept where I am and find happiness inside me.
